Designed by James Gourlay for BBb and CC tubas. Produces a massive sound. The funnel-shaped design produces an excellent well-blended tone which is ideal for bands and orchestras.
The Prestige models for tuba have been designed by virtuoso tuba player and leading Brass Band conductor James Gourlay for the Besson range of tubas. James’s years of experience with these instruments have helped him design two mouthpieces of exceptional quality for the traditional BBb and EEb tubas. Both the 1H and the 3A help produce a characterful tone which defines the modern brass band sound.
