Brass Direct is a subsidiary of Music Ways Ltd trading as Brass Direct.


Music Ways Ltd is committed to ensuring the privacy of your personal information. Information requested is limited to what is required to provide an accurate service to you. Under no circumstances will your information be sold or intentionally distributed to a third party. Your personal information is restricted only to those who need access to complete your order.

Credit Card transactions are processed via DPS Payment Express and card details are not stored by Music Ways.


All prices are in NZD and include GST (15%). All prices are automatically updated from our Inventory Control System and are subject to change without notice.

Stock Availability:

Stock Availability is listed on the website and updated on a 24-hour cycle. In an event where a purchase has been completed and payment received but the item is out of stock, you will be contacted immediately and offered full refund for the purchase amount.

Freight and Delivery:

Free freight is offered on all purchases over $100.00. A flat rate of $5.00 will apply to all orders less than this amount. Nationwide delivery should be expected within 2-3 working days from the date of purchase. We will endeavor to ship orders on the same day of purchase where possible. Tracking details for orders will be available on request.

We do not export goods outside of New Zealand.


There is a 12 month Manufactures Warranty that applies on all products purchased from this website. If your product is faulty under warranty, it will be repaired or replaced and will be sent. In the event a replacement is sent, the 12-month Warranty applies to the original purchase date not the replacement date.

To Claim on a Warranty issue, please contact us for a RA (Return Authorisation) Number so the unit can be assessed. If the fault is accepted under the Manufactures Warranty, a replacement unit will be sent out free of charge.

Purchases and Payment:

All Credit Card transactions will be processed through a secure service provider (Payment Express). Credit card details will not be held by Music Ways Ltd and are not accessible by any of our employees.

Direct Debit transactions are processed via DPS Acount2Acount.

Goods will not be shipped until payment has been received in full.

Refund Policy:

We will not provide a refund on purchases if you have changed your mind so please choose carefully. Credit will be offered if returned within 14 days of purchase, provided the item is returned factory sealed in its original packaging. Credit must be used within 12 months.

Damaged or Incorrect orders:

Upon receipt of your order, please inspect all your items to insure they are in good condition prior to signing for the package. If you notice damage of any degree do not sign for the goods, refuse to accept the consignment and contact us immediately. A replacement order will be dispatched to you. If a damaged consignment is accepted by the customer, it is their responsibility to contact the courier company to claim for damaged goods.

If the order is not received within 5 working days of purchase, please notify us so we can follow up with the courier to insure the order has not been lost in transit.

If you believe there has been a shortage in supply, the buyer must notify us within 7 days of delivery for us to investigate further.
